Last week in Los Angeles, California, the reunion tour of renowned boy band Big Time Rush came to perform at the Youtube theatre on their Forever Tour - named after a promise to the fans that they have no plans on stopping. Performing hits like Boyfriend, No Idea, Stuck, as well as new songs to be released very soon, the venue was full of life and love for Logan, Kendall, James, and Carlos.

Opening for the band was up and coming pop artist Spencer Sutherland, who’s since gone viral on platforms like TikTok, warming up the crowd for the evening ahead. Sutherland received an outpouring of love for his incredible vocal range and sultry pop sounds, making a perfect opener for a band like BTR.

The tour alone proved to be an incredible evening, with fans crying, screaming, and filled with joy whenever the guys would perform their choreographed moves, or jump into the crowd and sang along with them. It was a night you would remember, that’s for sure. If you have the chance to check out either BTR or Sutherland in the future, you’ll be in for an evening of good vibes and high energy.

A couple weekends ago, 5B Media and KROQ combined forces to bring together a two weekend event in the sunny Hermosa Beach, outside of Los Angeles, called the Hermosa Beach Summer Series. It was the first for California to see this series brought to life, with a combination of yoga classes, food vendors, movie nights, comedy shows, and live music smashed into one. Have you ever wanted a music festival, quite literally, on the beach? And did I mention it’s a free for all event? What more could you ask for? I managed to capture Los Angeles local bands The Wrecks and The Score as they co-headlined the night for weekend one. Bringing rock and roll and a lot good energy to their fans and new faces, it was a set you had to see to believe.
